Environment Committee
The Environment Committee of the Governors’ Ethanol Coalition promotes the environmental benefits of ethanol through environmental studies and policy recommendations.

Ethanol Vehicle Committee
The Ethanol Vehicle Committee of the Governors’ Ethanol Coalition supports increased use of ethanol in vehicles through monitoring and promotion of energy efficient technologies.
Current Members: Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Wisconsin
International Committee
To build an international alliance to expand global economic development, clean the environment and improve the international balance of trade through the use of ethanol. The Governors’ Ethanol Coalition and its international partners will work together by sharing research and development, exploring import/export joint ventures, increasing international public awareness of the benefits of alcohol (ethanol) fuels and creating an international economic climate for expansion of ethanol fuel.
Current Members: Minnesota, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Sweden, Thailand, and Queensland, Australia
Marketing and Education Committee
The Marketing and Education Committee of the Governors’ Ethanol Coalition develops and promotes marketing and education strategies that will expand the production and use of ethanol.
Current Members: Kansas and Nebraska
New Sources Committee
The New Sources Committee of the Governors’ Ethanol Coalition works to accelerate the commercialization of ethanol production from biomass resources that will expand the production and use of ethanol.
Current Members: Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, North Dakota, Oregon, Illinois and Minnesota
Policy Committee
The Policy Committee of the Governors’ Ethanol Coalition develops and recommends policies that promote the production and use of ethanol.
Current Members: Illinois, Iowa, Indiana and Nebraska
Research Committee
The Research Committee of the Governors’ Ethanol Coalition encourages partnerships and establishes priorities for strategic ethanol research that will result in greater efficiencies and environmental benefits.
