US Ethanol Production Down, Hits 51 Week Low

Gasoline demand for the week averaged 391.2 million gallons (9.315 million barrels) daily, down slightly from the previous week but 4.4% above year-ago levels. Refiner/blender input of ethanol averaged 918,000 b/d—a 34-week best and easily the highest rate of 2016.
Expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 9.95%, marking the third week in a row below 10%.
