U.S. Ethanol Production Declines

Average weekly gasoline demand increased 1.8% to 407.6 million gallons (9.705 million barrels) daily. This is equivalent to 148.8 billion gallons annualized. Refiner/blender input of ethanol backed off from the prior week’s record volume, decreasing 1.7% to 945,000 b/d. This is equivalent to 14.49 billion gallons annualized.
Expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 10.45%.
