The bill extends the state’s biodiesel production tax credit that was set to expire at the end of the year. It also enhances the state’s E-15 retailer tax credit to help alleviate extra costs during the summer season.

The bill also updates Iowa code to add biobutanol as a renewable fuel option.

The bill signing will be held at a Coon Rapids ethanol facility.
