Rep. John Shimkus, chairman of the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on the Environment, said he expected to begin a series of meetings on how to potentially revamp the Renewable Fuel Standard in the coming weeks. “We’ll probably start meeting with a small group of members on the RFS and start kind of figuring out if there’s a pathway,” he said. “We’re asking the members to come with no agenda, a clean slate.”
