U.S. spot ethanol prices traded lower in Chicago and New York Harbor markets during a choppy session on Monday, starting the new trade week on the back foot as Chicago Board of Trade corn futures hit a better than one-week low and New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures edge lower.
Prompt ethanol supply at the Argo hub in the Chicago market traded at $1.465, $1.455 and $1.4525 per gallon, down 1.75 cents on the session. On the East Coast, May barged fuel ethanol in the New York Harbor traded at $1.5175 per gallon, down 2.25 cents on the session.
