Spot ethanol prices in Chicago and New York Harbor moved mixed in thin discussion early Tuesday afternoon, with prompt supply at the Argo hub talked $1.53 by $1.545 per gallon, down 0.75 cents from the prior session while anys were talked $1.55 by $1.56 per gallon.
Argo June 15-16 traded at $1.535 per gallon, sources said. In the rail market, ethanol under Rule 11 terms was talked at $1.5350 per gallon, a penny higher than the prior trade session.
In the New York Harbor, June fuel ethanol barges were pegged at $1.62 per gallon, up 0.5 cent.
