The EPA’s rejection of petitions to shift obligation for the Renewable Fuel Standard downstream will be published in today’s Federal Register, effectively handing the decision to Trump’s future EPA administrator. The agency’s 60-day comment period will close on Jan. 21, the day after the inauguration (and also a Saturday, but who’s counting?).
