Gina McCarthy shushes departure rumors

But McCarthy shut those rumors down, tweeting late Thursday night that chatter about her departure was “simply inaccurate. We’ve made great progress these past 14 months, but we have much more work to do — and I remain excited about the opportunities ahead.”
White House spokesperson Vedant Patel told ME earlier Thursday that McCarthy and her team “continue to be laser focused” on Biden’s clean energy agenda. The White House is far from achieving its biggest legislative clean energy to-do, with discussion quietly picking back up on a climate bill from the ashes of Build Back Better.
