Ethanol group will continue to fight for RFS

The president and CEO of the Renewable Fuels Association, Bob Dinneen, says while he’s not opposed to discussing RFS issues with oil industry representatives, he will not agree to any changes that harm the RFS.
“Agriculture is as united as it has ever been that tampering with a program that has been so important to rural economic development and growth is the wrong thing to do,” he says.
Dinneen spoke to reporters at the Commodity Classic in Anaheim, California this week.
President Trump has called for a meeting between ethanol and oil industry representatives to discuss RFS issues. Details of that proposed meeting have not been announced.
