Confirmation vote set for Perdue

A confirmation vote for Sonny Perdue, President Donald Trump’s nominee for Agriculture secretary, has been set for Monday, April 24, at 5:30 p.m., the Senate Periodical Gallery has confirmed.
The gallery said that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., added it to the schedule as a unanimous consent request.
