A nonprofit group that advocates for ethanol and other rural issues bought billboard space in Wisconsin urging President Biden to support biofuel mandates. Rural Voices USA said it bought space on four billboards around La Crosse, Wis., as the president prepared to come to the state today to tout his infrastructure plan. The group, which got a start last year under the name Rural America 2020, pressed the Biden administration to stick to the goal of at least 15 billion gallons of conventional corn ethanol fuel a year, in regulations that are overdue from EPA. The volumes are required as part of the renewable fuel standard.
